Is this a validation error that keeps the row of excel data from importing?
Does each row of Excel data contain a value that uniquely identifies the row of data?
For testing the import function of my system, i have been set some validatuion about some of the field.
And the execl file have leave some field into blank for testing. it is used to prevent user to made some typing error in the excel
You can perform a find for all records where this field is empty to produce a list of them. If there's a value in one field that then tells you which row in the excel table matches to that record in your excel table, you have your list of records with this error and a way to determine which rows in the spread sheet are missing data in the original cell.
To find records with an empty field, enter find mode and put an = sign in that field. Then perform the find. This can be done manually or via a script.
But i used to import the excel file into the system, filemaker is skip the record that some of the fields are blank.
Can i found out those record?
Not easily. You could disable the validation rule that omitted the field and then it would be included in the import.
If the rows of data include a column that numbers each row, you could possibly search for gaps in the number series.
