      Error Message

      Post

When I try to bring up a file using File Maker Pro I get the following message:  "Microsoft Office is not able to run FileMaker Pro at this time.  Verify that FileMaker Pro has been installed correctly on this machine."  How do I install it correctly?  Other files using FileMaker Pro work just fine--why isn't this one.  I have had it open before, the last time was July 14, 2007.

      Thank you,

          The file may be damaged.

Launch Filemaker without trying to open this file.

Select Recover from the file menu and select your file as the file to recover.

Test the recovered file and see if it opens without this error message. If so, replace it with an undamaged back up copy if at all possible.
