    Exact Match with variable

      Exact Match with variable

           Having problems performing a find with a script.  I get an error message saying "The provided find criteria is not valid".  I've watched it run through the script debugger and it is being entered correctly into the field I am performing the find in. (correct syntax, etc...)

           Using the following:

           Set Variable $workorder

            Enter Find Mode

            Set Field 1: "=="& $workorder

            Perform Find.

               That set field step should look like this in your script editor:

               Set Field [YourTable::FieldName ; "=="& $workorder ]

               Use your actual table and field names in place of mine and there should only be the square brackets that I have shown here.

               When Setting up Set Field, there are two Specify buttons that must be clicked. To get Set Field [Table::Field ; Expression], add set field to your script and click the first button (specify target field). Select Table::Field from the list of fields. Do not click the specify button next to the repetition box. Click OK to close this dialog box. Now click the lower specify button (calculated result) and create the expression to the right of the semicolon (;). Do not try to type in the semicolon.
