      Excel or Numbers for Mac


      Is it possible to insert a table from Excel or Numbers for Mac in a report?

          You can, of course, import the data into a table and then you have the data available for your report...

          You can script the import to take place each time you click a button to view the report if the number of rows to be imported isn't too large to create an unacceptable delay.

          I think you might be able to use ODBC to set up a "shadow table" that links to an excel file, but haven't tried that myself, so could be wrong...
