Use a variable and you can put together a calculation that adds in the current date as part of the filename.
Set Variable [$Path ; value: "file://Dns323/volume_1/sales" & Substitute ( Get ( Currentdate ) ; "/" ; "-" ) & ".csv" ]
You can then type the name of the variable in where you currently type in your file path.

Does that mean I keep the original syntax (see attached) and add this line in below? Or just add in the line you suggested which is generating a syntax error.
There is something I am defintiely not understanding.
What I have posted is a scrpt step that you add before your export script step.
Then, In the dialog you've shown in your last post, you type in the name of your variable ($Path in my example) without quotes in place of the file path.
