      Export a tab-comma format which have to include the return function

      Post

      Hi everyone:

      I have to export a field which contain several other text fields and I have included the ¶ for the return between the different fields. If I open the exported .txt file with Text Edit on a Mac I see the fields presented in the intend view in different lines.

      Example:

      2||1||||||001||001||A010010010100000860||Autos Ramos, S.R.L.||123456789||||||||||||0||||||||||||||||||||||||     1||2||Habitacion||8517||1800||

      1||1||Telefono||115||1800||

      1||1||Lavanderia||767||1800||

      1||1||Diversos||295||1800||

      If I open the same file under Windows "Notepad" than I see the the a symbol instead of the return and all fields are without spaces to each other.

      Example:

      2||1||||||001||001||A010010010100000860||AutosRamos,S.R.L.||123456789||||||||||||0||||||||||||||||||||||||1||2||Habitacion||8517||1800||1||1||Telefono||115||1800||1||1||Lavanderia||767||1800||1||1||Diversos||295||1800||

      In my export script the file type is "Tab-Separated Text files (*.tab) and the "Output file character set:" is "Windows (ASNSI)". Even if I use different output file character sets the result is the same.

      I have to present the exported information in separate lines and therefore need to see the field information when I open the .txt file in notepad in different lines and not in one line. Does anyone have a useful tip for me.

      Thanks

      Frank
