Export records to xml formatted iOS plist using an xslt file
Hi, I'm trying to use FM as a tool to organize data for use in iOS apps. I'm looking for an xslt file that will produce the "fieldnamefieldcontents" format.
hi :) i'm interested in answer to same question Michael. Howdy.
Basically, i'm trying to figure out how to go export data into a simple Apple Property List (XML). FileMaker exports to XML however, it requires what it calls an XSLT Transform to be performed to convert the data into the desired XML scheme. In this case, i'm wondering if anyone has found one which can be used during export with FMPro to "encapsulate" all the tables/relationships/data in a PropertyList ... or several if needed, one for each table will work ... i just need some means of going from FMP > CoreData and XML PropertyLists make the most sense for my project too.
Thanks to anyone with answer, best wishes from Louisville, Kentucky :) and happy new year to all! Sean (of GoSEAN.org)
dude. i'd like to offer a solution, but a real genius came along and whipped together an app for that on Dec 30, 2011. You'll love it. Export from FileMaker and take your data anywhere. GoSEAN.org
