This should not be a problem.
Is it an fp7 file?
If you want you could send me an enmpty copy of the fmp7 file so I can try opening it on a pc.
But the fmp7 file should be able to open on a pc just fine.
Maybe there is a problem with a startup script or something like that. Maybe a script that references a file location.
Do you have anything like that?
Dupe the database, open dupe, delete all but 1 or 5 records, save as smaller, email to your friends for testing.
Windows sees the file as locked on the DVD.
Windows often sees the copied from DVD as locked. Properties allows it to be unlocked.
Thanks. Yes, my file is a fp7 file. As you have suggested, I have sent a blank coned copy off as an email attachment to my friend, to see if he can open it.
Thanks for your suggestion. I will get a very small version of my file off to my friend right away.
