Exporting to Excel
I'm wondering if it's possible to block users from exporting to excel?
I have employees exporting information that they shouldn't be, but i'm not sure how to block them from doing so.

Under Manage | Security, there's an "allow exporting" check box that you can clear. I would think that a custom privilege set that did not include this privilege would work for you.
If you have advanced, you can also use custom menu options that do not include the needed menu options to export records or "save as Excel" to prevent exporting data.
On the other hand, if you must allow some types of exports but not export to excel, I think you'll have a problem as I don't see a way to prevent this with that degree of selectivity.
