Export your data from a layout based on the child table.
Here is where the plot thickens. I have two one-parent-to-many-children, children. I have many price SKUs per product and also many photos per product, so I am exporting from the parent because if I export from one of the children, I don't get the other child.
what method are you using to export images? Don't quite see how that is possible in this type of export.
From the parent product record we export related price SKUs and image links. Looks like this:
I am trying to fill in cells like A11. we have blank product handles, that I have to fill in manually. Its a drag when its close to 1000 records, lol
I see a basic design issue here. You have these relationships:
ImageURL's>-----Parent-----<SKUs (---< means "one to many" )
On one row you would appear to want one URL, the parent fields and one SKU.
But with these relationships, you have nothing in place to specify which image to associate with a given SKU.
If you had these relationships:
Parent----<SKUs-----ImageURLs (---- means one to one)
Then you can base your layout on either SKUs or ImageURLs and you can get the resulting export that you want.
Ah yes, but the images are not related to the price SKUs. The images are just a few image of the product. Here is a live example of where the data is going to our Shopify store. Here we have 4 price SKUs and 2 images.
