We just bought FM Pro 11 and have never used it before. I am getting used to it, but I am trying to add another field box to my layout to categorize our clients and vendors. I have puta drop down menu in there but how do I keep my choices in memory? I tried and everytime I click out of the box to fill in another field it erases my choice. Does this have anythign to do with the scripts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
This should work in FileMaker 11 just like it did in older versions. The only change is that field/control settings have bee rearranged and located on the Inspector.
Perhaps if you spell out in detail how you have set up this drop down menu, we may be able to spot what is keeping this from working the way you expect it to.
