Thanks for posting.
You'll need to download and install the 32-bit version of the MySQL driver (available here: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/)and then launch the 32-bit version of the ODBC Administrator tool to setup the DSN. You can find the 32-bit version of the ODBC Administrator in:
Once that's done, FileMaker should be able to see your System DSN.
wow.... that explains alot - I am a few months new to a 64bit machine
I did try the 32b version but the odbc admin didn't see it...
and oddly I noticed ONLY my fm databases that already had the mssql data souce could access that - anything new could not see the msSQL as well as the Mysql - ...
USE the 32 bit version of the odbc Administrator -
