Title

mysql odbc driver not showing up with other DSNs

Post

Hi there -

win7 (64bit)
My sql odbc driver  3.51(64bit - the 32bit will NOT show up as an available driver in the win data source administrator interface)fmpa v11.03

Today I got the odbc MYsql driver configured, testing good and installed as a SYSTEM dsn - (I've used MSsql for years as an odbc data source)

Problem - when I try to  'add datasource' odbc in FMP I do NOT see my MYSQL DSN- (yet I DO see my MSsql dsn and other odbc set ups)

So... I added as a 'USER DSN' -

I still don't see it in Filemaker ADD data source

BUT

I do see it when I chose open file and choose odbc. I can open a mysql table - but I really need to interact with this as a data source

Am I missing something here ?
