Hi,
I would like to try the advanced version of Filemaker pro, to see if it would be worthy to switch once the current license for my team expires.
Does anyone know if it can be done?
Thanks!

Hi beverly,
You mentioned that 'Attendees at the DevCon typically get a Not-For-Resale copy of FMPA'. Is this a full version of FMPA or a trial version. Also, is this true for the London DevCon in October 2018?
Welcome, sorysm! This page may give you a better understanding of what is in FileMaker Pro Advanced (FMPA) & FileMaker Pro (FMP):
http://www.filemaker.com/products/filemaker-pro-advanced/
If you are currently on a TL (team license), I don't believe their is an "upgrade path" to getting FMPA:
http://www.filemaker.com/purchase/store/faq-teams.html
But, as this page seems to state quite often: "Contact Sales". It may depend on your license and if they have other "deals" to bundle FMPA with FMServer and the User Connections. Only they may know!
I also do not see a "trial version" for FMPA, only FMPro, FMServer, FMCloud:
http://info2.filemaker.com/GL-Trial-Program_GL-Trial-Request-with-Cloud-Organic-Control-EN.html
But if you spend very much time inside FMPro for developing database files (creating, editing), then you would find that the features (as in the chart linked above) are just too useful.
Attendees at the DevCon typically get a Not-For-Resale copy of FMPA, as well.
