Connection issues with FMS 17 and hosted solution

I have Filemaker Server 17 installed on a mac mini that is colocated in a data center.  Prior to installing Filemaker Server 17, I was using Filemaker Server 16 in the same data center and had no issues connecting to my solution.  Now it takes 30 plus seconds, with the "Waiting for Response" dialogue while connecting to my favorite host before the database shows up and another 30 seconds or so to actually load the solution.  This was not happening with my Filemaker Server 16 setup.  Here are the specs for my server...which is only hosting Filemaker Server and has nothing else running on it.


Mac Mini (Late 2014)

2.6 GHZ Intel Core i5

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
993.11 GB free HD space

Mac OS X High Sierra - 10.13.3

(Clocking connections on the server side at 938.71 Mbps)


Connecting to server via Filemaker Pro 17 Advanced on the following:


MacBook Pro (Late 2013)

2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Mac OS X High Sierra - 10.13.5

(Clocking connections on my laptop at 50.44 Mbps)


Using SSL certificate from GoDaddy and is configured properly with my domain name.


Have also tried in different locations, with different internet connections and different computers and can still replicate the same delays in connecting.  Is there something I am missing here?


I should mention that the solution opens immediately in Filemaker Go 17 and on Filemaker WebDirect.
